Property Knowledge and skills direct from university property lecturers

Think Sharp is the brainchild of Dr Michael Rehm, an academic with the University of Auckland Business School's Department of Property.  Together with his wife and colleague, Dr Olga Filippova, they revamped their university courses to embrace their own form of 'blended learning' with lectures delivered solely online. This new web-based approach to teaching has enabled them to offer the valuable knowledge contained in their core property courses to individuals who can neither attend on-campus lectures nor dedicate three years of their lives to pursue a Bachelor of Property.

In April 2015 Think Sharp began offering online short courses in  building construction and property finance & investment.  Shortly after, courses on property management by Chris Farhi were added.  Further short courses are planned on financial modelling, development feasibility and geographic information systems (GIS).

Our Philosophy

Higher education should be accessible to all those eager to learn

Think Sharp is about sharing the valuable property knowledge that, until now, has been trapped inside Bachelor of Property courses, only accessible to university students.  There are many individuals and organisations in New Zealand and beyond who would like to tap into this knowledge and benefit from it but pursuing a BProp is rarely a feasible option.

Our online teaching methods are award-winning and have been proven effective.  We exist to share our property knowledge using the successful online lecture delivery methods that we've developed for our university students.
